REM 2015  —  Accommodation

The 16th International Conference on Research and Education in Mechatronics REM2015 is a two day congress held in Bochum, Germany. Delegates and accompanying persons must organise travel to Bochum and their accommodation themselves.

The conference venue is located near the city of Bochum within footwalk respectively few tramway stations reach. Parking space for delegates is available at the venue. Nevertheless we recommend to use Bochum public transport (BoGeStra) with the ticket included in the conference pack and to choose a hotel with good access to tram or subway.

Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS)
This is the best choice for travelling by plane. From the airport's own railway station (Düsseldorf Flughafen Bahnhof) you can catch a large number of direct trains to Bochum central railway station (Bochum Hauptbahnhof). The travel time by direct train is 40 minutes.

Dortmund Airport (DTM)
To reach Bochum from this airport, you have to take a taxi or a bus (AirportExpress) to Dortmund central railway station (Dortmund Hauptbahnhof), to get a direct train to Bochum central (Hauptbahnhof).
